Manufacturers we fit
Boiler brands we install
We fit boilers from four well-established manufacturers. Here is a balanced look at each one, and how we help you choose the right model for your home.
Choosing a boiler brand can feel confusing, with every manufacturer claiming to be the obvious choice. The truth is that all four brands we install make good boilers, and the right model for you depends more on your home, your hot water needs and your budget than on the badge on the front. Below is an honest overview of each, based on our experience fitting and servicing them across London.
Why we work with a small number of brands
By focusing on a handful of manufacturers, our engineers get to know their boilers inside out: how they are best installed, how their controls work and how to service them properly. That familiarity helps us fit each boiler correctly the first time and look after it well for years afterwards. We also know how to register each brand's guarantee and what servicing each manufacturer expects.
The brands we fit
Worcester Bosch
Worcester Bosch is a long-established manufacturer with a large range of combi, system and regular boilers, and it is a name many homeowners already know and trust. Its boilers are widely regarded for solid build quality, straightforward controls and good availability of parts, which helps keep repairs simple.
Suits: homeowners who want a familiar, well-supported brand with options for almost every type of property, from compact flats to larger family homes.
Vaillant
Vaillant is a German manufacturer with a long history in heating. Its boilers are known for quiet operation, compact designs and well-engineered controls that can help a boiler modulate its output smoothly to match demand.
Suits: homes where the boiler sits in a kitchen or living space and quietness matters, and households interested in smarter weather-compensating or connected controls.
Viessmann
Viessmann is a family-founded German company known for engineering-led design. Many of its boilers use a stainless steel heat exchanger, and its ranges cover everything from compact combis to higher-output models for larger homes.
Suits: homeowners who value robust engineering and a sleek, modern appearance, and properties that need a boiler matched carefully to higher heating demand.
Intergas
Intergas is a Dutch manufacturer whose boilers use a distinctive, simplified internal design with fewer moving parts than many conventional boilers. That simpler design is intended to reduce the number of components that can wear out.
Suits: homeowners who like the idea of a straightforward, reliable boiler with a compact footprint, and those looking for good value without compromising on quality.
A note on guarantees
Manufacturer guarantees vary from model to model, and the length offered can also depend on the installer's accreditation with that manufacturer and on the boiler being registered and serviced every year. On some models, guarantees of up to 10 years are available. Rather than quote general figures that may not apply to your boiler, we confirm the exact guarantee for the model you choose in your written quote and register it for you after installation.
How we help you choose
We never push a brand for the sake of it. During your free survey we look at:
- Your home – its size, number of bathrooms, insulation and existing pipework.
- Your hot water needs – how many people live there and how often several taps or showers run at once.
- Boiler type – whether a combi, system or regular boiler suits your property best.
- Location and space – where the boiler will go, how it will look and how quiet it needs to be.
- Controls – whether you want simple controls, smart thermostats or weather compensation.
- Budget – we can quote on more than one option so you can compare like for like.
We will then recommend one or two suitable models and explain the reasoning in plain English. You can read more about how we fit them on our London boiler installation page, and see each stage of the job in our installation process guide.
Whichever brand you choose, the efficiency of the boiler and how it is set up matter just as much as the name. Our guide to understanding boiler efficiency covers what to look for. And once your boiler is in, a yearly service from our engineers keeps it safe and its guarantee valid.

FAQs
Questions about boiler brands
Which boiler brand is the most reliable?
All four brands we install make dependable boilers when they are correctly sized, properly installed and serviced every year. In our experience, installation quality and maintenance affect reliability at least as much as the brand. We will recommend models that suit your home rather than naming a single winner.
Can I choose a brand you do not usually fit?
We focus on Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Viessmann and Intergas because we know them well and can support them properly. If you have your heart set on another manufacturer, mention it and we will give you an honest view, but our quotes are based on the brands we install regularly.
Do you service and repair all of these brands?
Yes. We service and repair Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Viessmann and Intergas boilers, whether or not we installed them. Regular servicing by a Gas Safe registered engineer is usually a condition of the manufacturer guarantee, so it is worth keeping up every year.
Are more expensive boilers always better?
Not necessarily. A higher-priced model may offer extra features, smarter controls or a longer guarantee, but a mid-range boiler that is correctly sized for your home can perform just as well day to day. We explain what you get for the money so you can decide.
Will a new boiler work with my existing radiators?
Usually, yes. Most modern boilers connect to existing radiators and pipework. We check the condition and sizing of your system during the survey and will tell you if any radiators, valves or pipework should be upgraded, or if the system needs cleaning first.
